Albuquerque, NM
We arrived in Albuquerque on the afternoon of April 28th. The wind had blowed so hard all day and into the night it was hard to sleep with the motor home shaking, but we managed to get a few winks in. The next morning we went to see the Acoma Pueblo. It was an ancient Indian reservation. They have no electricity and no indoor plumbing. They still live as their ancestors did hundreds of years ago. Here are some pictures of their houses. We were not allowed to take pictures inside the church or of the cemetery as these are sacred places.
This is the outside of the church
The scenery around the pueblo was beautiful. I kept picturing cowboys riding through. I guess I watch too many westerns!
