On the way to Albuquerque, New Mexico

We left Amarillo on April 28th heading for Albuquerque, NM. I had picked up a brochure on a place on Rt. 66 called Midpoint Cafe and wanted to stop. It has been there in business since the "Mother Road's" heyday. The grill was closed for updating but we were able to have a piece of their famous "ugly crust pie". We had the chocolate peanut butter and man was it good! They named this place Midpoint Cafe because it is the exact amount of miles from here to Chicago and here to Los Angeles.
